General Information
Sheriff’s Office Web Check service for background checks are available to the general public.
The Sheriff and his staff are required to follow strict federal guidelines when performing necessary procedures for fingerprinting. During the application process, you will be asked to schedule an appointment. Please note that you will be asked to pay now to reserve your appointment.
You must bring a VALID Driver's License or State issued I.D. to your appointment. **MUST BE CURRENT AND NOT EXPIRED**
Pricing
- Fingerprinting costs is based on the level of Background Check Service:
- BCI - $35.00
- FBI - $35.00
- BCI & FBI - $70.00
- Manual Fingerprint Card - $10.00 per card
- Appointments for fingerprinting will be processed between 8:00am-3:00pm on Tuesdays to Fridays, excluding lunch 12-1pm and legal holidays.

Submitting the web check application you will certify that the personal identifiers provided on this form are accurate and that you voluntarily and knowingly authorize the Trumbull County Sheriffs Office to submit information to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI&I) to conduct a criminal records check for information relating to yourself.
You will voluntarily and knowingly authorize BCI&I to disseminate criminal arrest conviction and juvenile delinquency adjudication records to the WebCheck provider or agency you have designated to receive this information. You will voluntarily and knowingly release and discharge the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, BCI&I and their employees from all claims and liability related to this authorized criminal record review and dissemination.
